Through a happy circumstance stemming from my involvement with Invisible Children, I have been given the chance to write for the Global Youth Fund on their blog. I'm stoked for the opportunity to be a part of this immensely promising organization (thanks Charles).As I move to Uganda and undoubtedly begin writing about my travels and experiences I will continue to write here on Surviving America, and will also be posting over at GYF (I'll probably end up cross-posting a bit). I encourage you all to take a look at the GYF site and their plans for empowering the youth of the world to "be the change they wish to see."

I just wanted to express my excitement over this new job. As much as I hate to see you leave (especially when you just got back), I love to see you serving God in the ways He leads. And writing for another blog? God truly is awesome.
Aaron, thanks so much for the words of encouragement, brother. I can't wait to come out to Phoenix and spend some time with you and the fam. We'll have to set aside some time to talk "ideas" like we had mentioned.
